Born Again

© Lilla Luoma 1995

Into the altar of my dreams
I lit a candle, shadows cast
The air was full of amber's peace
I had visions of the future, I had visions of the past

Our ancestors all were standing there
Connected by strands of light
Generations of love for the earth and eachother
Red, yellow, black, and white

And I saw the wheel, I saw the web, I saw the weaver's hands
I heard the drum, I joined the dance, and I was born again

I heard a voice say, make peace with yourself child
Watch what you say, watch what you do
Learn to walk on the beauty path
And peace on earth, will begin with you

And I see the wheel, I see the web, I see the weaver's hands
I hear the drum, I join the dance, and I am born again

Now there is a new day dawning, it is close at hand
A time for celebration, as we save the motherland

Do you see the wheel, can you see the web, oh the weaver's hands
Can you hear the drum, won't you join in the dance, we'll all be born again
