1.4.3 Try a conversion
To convert your first document with Mif2Go:
1. Create a folder for conversion and output files; usually, a subfolder of the folder where the FrameMaker files for your document are located. Make sure there are no spaces in the path to this folder.
2. Open the document in FrameMaker:
• To convert a book, open the book file; always start Mif2Go from the book file when you convert a book.
• To convert a single-file document, open the document file.
3. From the FrameMaker File menu, choose:

Browse to the project folder you created in Step 1.
Click OK. A Set Up dialog opens.
5. In the Set Up dialog, click OK. Either the Conversion Designer or Notepad opens.
6. If Notepad is open, click X to close it. Now you have a Mif2Go project.
7. From the FrameMaker File menu, choose:
8. In the Choose Project dialog, click OK. The Export dialog opens.
9. In the Export dialog, click OK. Mif2Go converts the document.
Look for the converted document files in the folder you selected in Step 4.
