1.3 What you need to have

To use Mif2Go your computer system must be equipped as follows:

• Windows: 95, 98, NT Version 3.51 or later, 2000, ME, XP, or Vista

• Intel-compatible 486 or Pentium-level processor

• 64+ MB memory recommended

You will need the following software in addition to Mif2Go:

• FrameMaker or FrameMaker+SGML:

- Version 5.5 or later, to run Mif2Go as a FrameMaker plug-in; see §3 Converting a book or document.

- Version 2.x or later, to run Mif2Go from the command line; see §35 Converting via DCL.

• Third-party tools, if you intend to generate on-line Help; see §1.4.5 Obtain third-party tools for Help systems:

• SetPrint from Sundorne Communications, if you wish to use runfm to print or to generate PDF output; see §34.4.3.3 Specifying output via SetPrint: runfm -printer option.

The folder where you extracted the contents of the Mif2Go .zip file should contain all the files listed in §B Distribution files. Check to make sure all are present.
