4.2.6 Using Conversion Designer for RTF output (deprecated)

If you are using FrameMaker version 8 or an earlier version for RTF output (typically Word or WinHelp), for awhile you can still access the deprecated Mif2Go Conversion Designer dialog, provided you specify the following setting in project configuration file mif2rtf.ini:

[FDK]

ConversionDesigner = Yes

The default value of ConversionDesigner is No.

To access the Conversion Designer dialog, you must rerun the project, this time choosing Set Up Mif2Go Export... from the FrameMaker File menu. Conversion Designer opens when you dismiss the Choose Project dialog; see §3.3 Setting up a Mif2Go project.

Note:

The Conversion Designer dialog does not work in FrameMaker version 9 or later versions, and is disabled for those versions. This feature will not be supported at all in future versions of Mif2Go.
