7.9.1 Using a hypertext marker to invoke a macro
The simplest way to create a jump to an external file is to insert a FrameMaker Go to URL hypertext marker where you want the link. For example, to run an .avi video clip:
Indicate the hotspot area with a character format that includes the marker; see §7.8.3 Creating hotspots for jumps and pop-ups in WinHelp. Mif2Go converts the marker text to produce the required WinHelp macro invocation:
Clicking the hotspot should display the .avi file.
