To use Mif2Go effectively, it is best if you:

• Know the structure of your FrameMaker document.

• Understand the format to which you are converting your document.

• Have a good idea which FrameMaker features and formats you want to map to which output features and formats.

Conversions will be easier if you follow the suggestions in §2.5 Preparing documents for conversion.
