1.1.2 For Mif2Go updaters

If you are updating Mif2Go, or changing from the evaluation version to the licensed version:

Are you using an older version of Windows (such as 9x, ME, or NT)? If so, §1.4.1 Install Mif2Go.

Does your desktop already have a shortcut to InstallMif2Go.bat for installing updates? If not, §1.1.3 Create or replace the Mif2Go installation script.

Since your last Mif2Go update, did you move to a new version of FrameMaker? If so, §1.1.3 Create or replace the Mif2Go installation script.

Since your last Mif2Go update, was FrameMaker moved to a new location on your system? If so, §1.1.3 Create or replace the Mif2Go installation script.

Otherwise, you can just §1.1.4 Install updates to Mif2Go

Note:

If you are changing from the evaluation version to the licensed version, the timestamp on an evaluation DLL file could be more recent than the timestamp on the registered DLL, depending on build order. If you are asked if you should overwrite a "newer" DLL with an older one when you copy the registered DLLs to your system folder, say Yes.
