5.1.6 Supporting more than one version of Word for review

If you are trying to support multiple users who have a variety of Word versions, you cannot just give them RTF files; Microsoft made sure of that. Instead, you must provide review documents in .doc format. This means you must do the following:

1. Load all generated RTF files into the version of Word for which Mif2Go produced them; see §5.2.5 Adjusting for different versions of Word).

2. Save each file from Word as .doc.

The Word files in .doc format can be distributed to users who have any version of Word.
