12.3.3 Specifying character encoding for HTML

HTML is based on Unicode. FrameMaker version 8 and later versions support Unicode, and so does Mif2Go, via UTF-8. Mif2Go does not directly support non-Unicode double-byte languages, nor right-to-left languages such as Hebrew and Arabic.
