Free personal copy of Mif2Go for unemployed tech writers, pubs consultants, academics, and students • Laid off? Underemployed as a consultant? It's a good time to add to your skills! We'll help, with a free personal copy of Mif2Go (not the demo version) and free email tech support and upgrades for life. • Or, are you teaching FrameMaker at a community college or other educational institution? You and all your students are also eligible for free copies. Single sourcing is a snap with FrameMaker and Mif2Go; show your students how! • Finally, if you are a full-time student, faculty member, or staff at a college-level educational institution, who qualifies for an Academic license for FrameMaker from Adobe, you are also eligible for a free copy. Since February 7, 2002, we have been offering a free single-seat license with lifetime support and upgrades to all unemployed technical writers and help authors, and to underemployed technical publications consultants. We extended the offer to those teaching and learning FrameMaker in colleges later that year, and to all academics in March 2005. We do not require any proof of your status; we believe in the Honor System, it works for us! Simply send us an email at <offer@omsys.com> with Mif2Go in the Subject line and with your name and email address in the body, and we will email you a password with which you can download the current registered version of Mif2Go. You are licensed to use it for personal projects (such as your own resume), and for assistance to nonprofits. If you become employed, we ask you not to use it for your company's commercial work... but if doing that puts your job in jeopardy, we want you to go ahead and use it. If, instead, you are an underemployed pubs consultant, you may use it for your paying clients, but we ask you to have them purchase a copy for such use whenever possible.
