HTML Style and Font Mapping |
The Mif2Go filter gives you full control over how your document is rendered in HTML, while at the same time automating the process so that you get a perfectly acceptable result right out of the box. We include a set of default font mappings that you can easily modify to your own taste, in accordance with the availablilty of fonts to your intended viewers. You can also set the default font and size in the .ini, and can map special characters to any sequence wanted. For paragraph and character styles, you can map any of your document styles to the standard HTML styles, such as h1, h2, blockquote, and pre for paragraph styles, or span, strong and em for character styles. Then you can go on and assign them many more properties within the HTML (not dependent on CSS), including alignment, size, bold, italic, underline, strikeout, and any color you want. You can also identify list styles, choose which HTML list type to use, and tell the filter how to handle nested lists. You can even support full outline formats, without losing track of the right number or letter to use at the higher levels. And interjected notes that are not part of the numbering scheme work just fine. | ||||
