• The RTF
output may be used either for import into Word for Windows and other
applications that read RTF, or for production of WinHelp files.
• The HTML
output was used to produce all the Omni Systems pages on this Web site.
It also can make HTML Help, JavaHelp, XHTML, and XML including DITA
and DocBool. When used from FrameMaker, it can generate graphics in
JPEG, PNG, and many other formats.
• The troff
output supports only raw troff (no macros); it is not suited for producing
man pages that use the man macros. It was designed to permit integration
of non-UNIX documents with a UNIX based document stream for high-speed
printing, and is optimized for that purpose.
