In addition to document conversion software, Omni has recently worked on these projects: • Report generation software for real-time biomedical instrumentation. • Data-base management for EEG information, using SQL Server. • Macros for conveniently faxing from within Microsoft Word and Excel. We do most of our development work on Windows 2K Pro, creating software that runs on all 32-bit Windows versions. We have built a significant amount on Sun UNIX, under SunOS; we often port bidirectionally between SunOS and Windows. Currently we're beginning to work with Linux too. We mainly use object-oriented C++, employing C where necessary (as with the FrameMaker FDK), and MFC for Windows GUIs. We also use VBA as needed to interface with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. We use SQL for DBMS work, and are familiar with Active X development.
