About Omni Who we are... |
We're different at Omni Systems, and that difference is reflected in the way Mif2Go is designed, built, and supported. First of all, we're not "in it for the money"; we are tech writers who created Mif2Go for tech writers, because we wanted our colleagues to have the best possible tools for building online Help. So we keep the price as low as possible (and eliminate the middlemen) to make Mif2Go readily available to all. We give away a lot of copies too, to those who couldn't afford it otherwise (refer to our Free Offer section for more information). We don't have any stockholders who are expecting a significant profit; we work cooperatively. We find that this sort of environment brings out the best in us, and our best is what you can count on receiving. Since we care about our work, and are proud of it, we make sure that the inevitable bugs in the software are fixed as soon as we hear about them, usually the same day. Fixes go out to the one who reported the problem immediately, and to everyone else in our regular free upgrades (currently three or four times a year). We don't make you wait a year, and pay big bucks, for what you should have had in the first place. We are constantly working to improve Mif2Go, and most of those enhancements flow from our customers' requests. If you look at the historyNN.txt file that goes with our product shipments, you'll see what we mean. If someone needs to do something that we don't quite support, chances are we'll build it for them on the spot, often in a few hours (see our Custom Filters section for more information). These too go into the next free upgrade, to benefit everyone. | ||||
