Verner,

So you basically want to copy the table column widths from one table to another without changing anything else?

FrameMaker itself has Copy Special > Column Width (often forgotten) for a single column. I seem to remember Rick used to have a script available which copies and pastes all column widths... or a full automation, of course.

Another option to ease the finishing process would be to search for irregular line ends in table cells. This is also possibly by some API programming (aka FrameScript).
